Our Approach & Process


Tailored strategies start with a clear understanding of who, what, why, and how a brand or business is.  During the consultation, neuIMC works to understand where you are and where you want to be to provide a custom approach to your strategy,


After the consultation, you will receive a custom proposal for services as discussed during our initial conversation. Pricing, project duration, and contract will be included in the proposal.


Our discovery process has three components. Together they give a robust answer, based on qualitative research, to these two essential questions.


During this part of the process, we begin to craft content, core messaging, efforts, and develop meaningful relationships.


During this phase, we implement the various strategies developed and designed as a result of research and clear identification of a realistic goal.  There will be various phases of implementation depending on the strategies and desired outcome.


neuIMC has an in-house measuring system to determine the success of a campaign.  We also rely on various metrics and analytics from platforms and other sources.  Our goal is to maximize the likelihood of success by carefully managing the strategy and its results.

Dr. Contrecia T. Tharpe

Chief Brand Architect, Storyteller, & Strategist


Dr. Contrecia T. Tharpe, affectionately known as Dr. T, is a marketing, branding, and communications practitioner and founder of neuIMC, a boutique integrated marketing and communications firm in Nashville.  With over 12 years’ experience in the industry, she has worked with national and international brands, businesses, and individuals in the non-profit, sports, entertainment, travel, small business, and education sectors.  She is an advocate for small and medium business success and works to maximize and identify opportunities, craft strategies, and create solid business foundations for her clients.
Contrecia is a current board member of women’s leadership organization Nashville CABLE, youth advocacy organization Impact Youth Outreach, and the national organization Shelters 2 Shutters where she serves as their Chair of Communications.  She is also a mentor with SCORE and Nashville’s Entrepreneur Center. Having obtained her doctorate from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2019, she is currently a faculty member at Nashville’s Lipscomb University in the communications department where she teaches advertising copy and communications courses. Her second book, Leveraged, will be released in Spring 2021.
