Dr. Contrecia T. Tharpe is a marketing and communications professional with over ten years’ experience in the industry. Specializing in strategy development, implementation and management, she has worked with national and international brands, businesses and individuals in the non-profit, sports, entertainment, small business and education sectors. With a passion for client success and growth, Contrecia works to create stable brand foundations, optimized brands and maximized opportunities.
She is experienced in marketing, communication and brand development efforts and strategies. In addition to strategic growth and development efforts, she works in media relations, advertising and website development, as well as manages and oversees graphic design, website development, promotion of events and programs, marketing training and more.
She is currently an adjunct faculty member at Nashville's Lipscomb University where she teaches a course on the analysis and assessment of current and past public relations campaigns.
The author of Branding Blocks: A Guide for Developing a Brand and Image for Success, she is also a public speaker spreading the word of effective, efficient, unique and sustainable brands and branding.
